Man cited following collision in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, IL – Kendall County deputies cited a 21-year-old man following a motor vehicle collision on the outskirts of Plainfield on Tuesday. 

According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office press release, the incident unfolded before 8 p.m., when the 21-year-old man, from Plainfield, tried to overtake at least one vehicle on Stewart Road, which led to a collision. 

Deputies said they cited the Plainfield man for improper passing and released him from the scene. 

Deputies have not specified the number of people and vehicles involved in the crash and have not reported any injuries at this time.
