YORKVILLE, IL – An 85-year-old woman was injured in a vehicle crash south of the Kendall County Fairgrounds in Yorkville on Wednesday.
The collision happened around 8 p.m. in the area of Ament Road and Immanuel Road, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
The Bristol Kendall Fire Department evaluated and treated the 85-year-old woman, a Yorkville woman, for minor injuries before releasing her.
Deputies have not said how many people and vehicles were involved or whether anyone was cited or charged.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
